Company History: Raw
Impact was created on a professional level in 2001 but we have been involved in the HipHop scene in Australia since 1997. We began as a small monthly newsletter
called '4 THa HuSTLas' which was distributed through one of Melbourne's largest music retailers, HMV Music in the Bourke Street Mall. In late 2000, the newsletter spawned the highly successful Raptism.Com. Once a simple Hiphop fan page, Raptism.Com is now regarded as one of the best sources for exclusive news stories, interviews and release dates. In November of 2001 Raw Impact Productions was officially created.
Our primary focus at Raw Impact is distribution. Since January 2002, we have released many products into the Australian market. Several high profile labels have aligned with Raw Impact to have their products released including Fortress Entertainment who are by far the premium producers of Hiphop DVD's across the world, as well as DPG Recordz and Outlaw Recordz, two independant labels in the United States.
Our goal is to provide Hiphop fans in Australia with the hottest products at the most affordable prices. Raw Impact is continually growing and is now under the umbrella of the Raw Entertainment Group. If you have any comments or questions, please drop us an E-Mail
